• Calvin my young black lab who has three moods: happy, superhappy, and despair — like when dinner is late, but it never lasts long.
• Baxter my older yellow lab, a former Guiding Eyes for the Blind service dog who is embracing retirement (and general naughtiness) with enthusiasm.
• Betty, my fuzzy dilute tortie kitten, adopted in a moment of covid lockdown madness, who retrieves better than either of her big brothers.

Hobbies

• Hiking with the dogs in the beautiful place I live (Four corners area)
• Quilting.
• Using a laser cutter.
