To further investigate Alopecia X in plush-coated breeds, six healthy, unaffected Schipperke dogs and 12 Schipperke dogs with a history of symmetrical non-inflammatory alopecia will be entered into the study to determine if the condition in the Schipperke is similar to that in other breeds.

This study hopes to find genes that increase the risk for diabetes mellitus in Samoyed and Australian Terrier dogs. Early genetic identification of carriers and dogs that are likely to develop diabetes may allow for decreasing the incidence of this disease in dogs.

This trial is evaluating whether T lymphocytes, genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor against CD20, can be administered safely to dogs with relapsed B cell lymphoma and whether they can eliminate B cells and prolong overall survival.

We are investigating the etiopathogenesis of Protein-Losing Enteropathy (PLE) or Yorkshire Terriers, with particular focus on the development of intestinal crypt lesions, and their role in contributing to enteric protein loss.
