Professional

I am a retired solo small animal practitioner. I opened my own Wyoming practice in 1995 and I retired from that practice in 2012. While I enjoyed private practice, it was time to do something different and so I combined my veterinary knowledge with my computer knowledge and joined the VIN team. I help to maintain the huge VIN database, as well as to foster interaction between reps, consultants and members.

I joined VIN as senior veterinary student in the spring of 1993 and have used it on a daily basis ever since. As a solo practitioner, I relied heavily on VIN for insight into my cases and professional conversations. The humor folder is still my favorite haunt! I am currently really enjoying the challenges of making the VIN database accessible and relevant to all members.

Personal

I am married with 2 grown sons. We share our abode with 2 cats and 1 dog. Preferred summer weekends are spent in the mountains camping. Nothing beats sitting around the campfire, just staring at the flames below and the stars above.

My hobbies include reading anything non-veterinary related, camping, fishing and am just now getting back into sewing, which fills my need to be creative. I also love photography.
