VIN Students Partnering/Support Guidelines
Published: November 14, 2025

The VIN Student Team is here to support you, our future colleagues. One thing to keep in mind is that VIN is different from most companies you deal with. VIN doesn't like to just sponsor, and instead prefers to partner with our colleagues. In general, money is not provided simply to get VIN’s name out. In fact, promotion of VIN should not be the primary focus of working together. VIN wants to support and be part of programs that enhance the lives and education of future colleagues.

In general, support of events that go beyond one room is preferred. Events that have potential to benefit veterinary medicine and/or generate new information are favored. This means an event VIN might sponsor should impact more than an entire class; impact on an entire student body is preferable and, ideally, would be beyond the walls of one school. Greater impact can be achieved by promoting the event to be virtual across schools or by generating materials that can be shared beyond the walls of the room where the event takes place.

Requests for sponsorship of student activities are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To be considered, please write a description (maximum 1 page) which describes the event or program, the type of assistance (money, technical assistance, personnel resources, etc.) you need, and how the resources will further the development of future colleagues within and beyond the confines of the event or program.
