Identification of Genetic Risk in Shetland Sheepdogs with Gallbladder Mucocele Formation

The long term goal of this research is to determine which gene(s) are responsible for predisposition of Shetland sheepdogs to mucocele formation. This will enable a better understanding of pathogenesis of mucocele formation in this breed.
