Struggling With Nocturnal Schedule
No matter what I do, I find this schedule very challenging. I do not get enough sunlight, I do not see my husband often, and making friends is challenging due to my schedule (I moved out of state for this job, so I am in a new location). I intermittently feel down, particularly on my nights off when I am awake and by myself at 4 am.

Initial characterization of stiff skin-like syndrome in West Highland white terriers
Affected dogs exhibited markedly indurated skin that was attached firmly to the underlying tissue and incomplete closure of the mouth and eyes. The syndrome most likely follows an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance.
Severe hyponatraemia in foals: clinical findings, primary diagnosis and outcome
A total of 50 of the 69 foals (72.5%) with severe hyponatraemia survived to hospital discharge, and 38 of them (76%) survived at least 12 months following discharge.
Comparative efficacy of intranasal and oral vaccines against Bordetella bronchiseptica in dogs Free Full Text

Differentials And Empirical Treatment Options For Guinea Pig With Acute Joint Disease; Use Of Oral Buprenorphine In Guinea Pigs And Other Rodents
Buprenorphine is relatively safe, when given orally, because of its known poor oral bioavailability. This dose in rats appears to provide analgesia, and I have used it empirically for guinea pigs, rabbits, and other pet rodents.
Dog With Food Aggression Not Interested In Treats; Treating Food- And Fear-Based Aggression
Some dogs that are not particularly food motivated seem to have some degree of nausea. This leads them to not want food -- but also to not want it taken from them, either.
Treating And Preventing Respiratory Infections In Pet Store Puppies
The big thing is for them to stop doing damage control (treatment) and improve their dog sourcing, arrival inspection, arrival quarantine, and routine health management. Without that, it's largely futile.
Hyperthyroid Cat With Hypertension
The adenoma may change to a thyroid carcinoma. (About 10% will become thyroid carcinoma by the time they've been on methimazole for 2 years, and about 21% will be thyroid carcinoma by the time they've been on methimazole for 4 years.)
