Annotations on Message Board Images in Presenter 3

Even on the clearest of pictures, it's not always easy to tell what you're supposed to be looking at on slideshow images posted to the VIN Message boards.

With the new Annotations tool in Presenter 3, text, highlights, and graphics can now be added to the image, making it easy to see to just what area of the image the poster is referring.

Note: Functionality for creating annotations will initially be released only to admins/consultants. As the process is refined, all members will be allowed to create annotations.

If you haven't checked out Beta.vin.com now is the perfect time to give it a try!

Effects of syringe type and storage conditions on results of equine blood gas and acid-base analysis
Heparinized jugular venous blood was equilibrated via a tonometer at 37°C with 12% O(2) and 5% CO(2). Aliquots (3 mL) of tonometer-equilibrated blood were collected in random order by use of a glass syringe (GS), general-purpose polypropylene syringe (GPPS), or polypropylene syringe designed for blood gas analysis (PSBGA) and stored in ice water (0°C) or at room temperature (22°C) for 0, 5, 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes. Blood pH was measured, and blood gas analysis was performed; data were analyzed by use of multivariable regression analysis.

Prevalence and types of tooth resorption in dogs with oral tumors
For each dog with an oral tumor, histologic sections of biopsy specimens of tumors were examined. Dental radiographic images of dogs were examined, and the presence and type of tooth resorption were determined for each tooth. Statistical analyses were performed to compare data regarding prevalence of tooth resorption.

Murphy's Laws of Vet Med
If you send staff home early because you're slow, patients will reliably come in. This is especially true if there are no patients in the hospital, the phone has been silent for hours, your technician is on his 22nd hour of overtime this week, and his wife is calling to report that the new baby is sick.
