When Is Enough Enough? Deciding Whether To Close Practice And File For Bankruptcy
Throwing good money (and good health) after bad because you are emotionally tied in knots is a mistake. Consider the practice a patient: have you done all the testing and the therapeutic trials? Is the family quality of life suffering? It's time to call it.
FeLV Positive Kitten In Feral Litter With FeLV Negative Queen And Littermates
This is a very odd scenario but points out the importance of testing individual kittens rather than "batching" blood to test.
Urine Culture Protocol When Laboratories Will Not Accept Plated Samples
My suggestion is to establish a better relationship with the lab. They must be frustrated with the way you're submitting your specimen. Ask them what it is that you're doing wrong in their eyes and try to correct it if you can. They will lose your business with the way they're currently treating you.
Young Dog With Episodes Of Strange Behavior Which May Be Seizures
My patient has been having episodes of bending his back, crawling away, and sliding his butt on the floor. We have worked him up for gastrointestinal disease, but the episodes are continuing to occur.

Halloween pumpkins Actually... I have what I have deemed an "Epic, multipumpkin masterpiece" in the works. Considering my history of superhero pumpkins, I thought it was only fitting... The Avengers! My plan is a 4 pumpkin piece composed of Black Widow and Hawkeye on one pumpkin, Thor and Captain America on another, The Hulk on one by himself, and Iron Man as the Centerpiece tying them all together. Here are my patterns so far... not sure I can pull it all off, but if I can, I think it will be great!
