Track Both Your VIN and Non-VIN CE
MyCE is a simple tool to keep track of your past, present, and future continual education participation. The VIN Wizards have recently made it possible for you to add your non-VIN CE courses, so now you can track all of your CE in one place. There are two ways to find MyCE: - Log into VIN and click CE on the main navigation bar. Click the yellow MyCE banner.
OR: - Log into VIN and click on MyVIN > Stuff > Continual Education.
You can view previous, current, and upcoming course registrations, view or print your certificates, and keep track of credits you've earned. Visit the CE Main Page and check out the Course Catalog to see what's on the schedule.

Effect of tooth extraction on stomatitis in cats: 95 cases (2000-2013)
Extraction of teeth in areas of oral inflammation provided substantial improvement or complete resolution of stomatitis in more than two-thirds of affected cats. Full-mouth extraction did not appear to provide additional benefit over partial-mouth extraction. Most cats with stomatitis may require extended medical management to achieve substantial clinical improvement or complete resolution.
Pharmacokinetics of intravenous, plain oral and enteric-coated oral omeprazole in the horse
Bioavailability of enteric-coated omeprazole was higher than previously reported and feeding had minimal impact. Bioavailability of plain omeprazole was approximately half that of enteric-coated omeprazole.
Can clinical signs, clinicopathological findings and abdominal ultrasonography predict the site of histopathological abnormalities of the alimentary tract in cats?
Clinical signs, and clinicopathological and ultrasonographic abnormalities lack precision for hepatic and pancreatic histopathological lesions in cats with alimentary tract signs, and cannot reliably predict from which organs biopsies should be collected. Arguably, therefore, exploratory coeliotomy is necessary to determine the site of histopathological abnormalities in feline alimentary tract disorders.

Choosing A Student Loan Repayment Strategy
This is some of the best, most logical information I've read on loan repayment strategies.
Is This Cat Hyperthyroid?; Why Can Nonthyroidal Illness Cause Elevated Free Thyroxine Levels In Cats?
It is critical to palpate the neck of a cat, when trying to diagnose hyperthyroidism.
Miniature Horse With Chronic Anorexia And Hypoalbuminemia
Hopefully this will remain another great VIN success story, although I understand that we could still fall apart long term. After 3 1/2 years of not eating (3 with previous owner, 1/2 with me), this is SO EXCITING! YAY VIN! Thank you!
Owner Wants To Use Natural Heartworm Preventative
As an alternative medicine practitioner, I feel much more comfortable with helping my dog detoxify a very mild dose of a medication to prevent the heartworms once a month, rather than treat a disease which can lead to heart or kidney failure or severe lung disease.

When did we become enemies? We used to give each other the benefit of the doubt and take what we were told with a grain of salt, "The client states...", and all that. Now, it seems we are out to malign each other. It's rather depressing. Aren't there enough patients for everyone?
