Coffeehouse Chat Gets a Boost
Sometimes you just need to let off some steam with your colleagues about the staff member or client that stressed you out, the patient you couldn’t save, or the difficulties of balancing practice and personal life.

Venting really only works when there’s someone to listen – something that was often missing in the Tuesday Coffeehouse Chat. So the Coffeehouse is being revamped as Venting over a Venti. VIN Consultant and trained therapist Michele Gaspar will be there to lend a professional ear, Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET.

VIN Formulary for Exotic Animals

Thanks to VIN consultants Ned Gentz, MS, DVM, DACZM, zoo/wildlife veterinarian and Sharon Gwaltney-Brant, DVM, PhD, DABT, DABVT, veterinary toxicologist, and the VIN exotic animal species consultants and editors for working so hard to bring this resource to the VIN community!

Find it in the Books and Drug Resources sections of the VIN Library and in the Small Mammals, Avian, and Clinical Pharmacology Specialty Centers.

VIN Information... To Share or Not to Share?
Yes, your mother told you to share, but as the Internet has taught us, there is such a thing as over-sharing. Sharing the last cookie – good. Sharing pictures from that college party – not so good.

In one sense, VIN is all about sharing. VINners share community information on the Message boards, in Rounds, CE classes, and more. VIN also hosts information such as conference proceedings and articles.

However, VIN will NEVER share your information with anyone without your permission. And since mutual consideration is part of community life, some restrictions exist on sharing VIN community information with non-VINners. And above all, significant restrictions exist regarding sharing VIN community information with non-veterinarinians. These conditions help protect all VINners and the integrity of the VIN Community.

Need specifics? A complete rundown of VIN Information and Privacy policies can be found through the VINDEX (CTRL+E), but as a general rule, if you wish to share something you’ve found on VIN with a non-VIN audience, email or call membership services for permissions and instructions on referencing the information.

      He's a picky eater
My personal favorite is, "He doesn't even eat everything in his bowl." I hear this all the time -- what is your point?!?!?!

If you plop a full Thanksgiving dinner in front of ME every night, I'm not going to eat it all either, but that doesn't mean I didn't overeat!
