As a Matter of FAQ...
The fastest route to an answer to your question is a VIN Database Search. But, because some topics have been discussed many times on the message boards, the number of "hits" can be overwhelming.

To help you, the VIN consultants (and other experts) continue to create up-to-date summaries (FAQs) of topics commonly discussed on the message boards.

Thyroid hormone concentrations differ between donkeys and horses
Serum TH concentrations were higher in donkeys than in horses. Donkeys <5 years had higher serum rT3, fT4, and tT4 concentrations than donkeys >5 years. Furthermore, older donkeys (>11 years) had lower serum fT3 and tT3 concentrations than younger donkeys' groups.

Familial episodic ataxia in lambs
The disorder was diagnosed as a dominant familial episodic cerebellovestibular ataxia inherited as a dominant trait, with incomplete penetration of observed clinical signs and variable expressivity. Because of incomplete penetrance and varying expressivity, many of the lambs carrying this mutation will survive without showing clinical signs and may enter breeding flocks, where the disorder may be perpetuated and contribute to neonatal deaths.

Epidemiology of urban dog-related injuries requiring rabies post-exposure prophylaxis in Marseille, France
Most cases occurred outdoors (73.0%) - in public areas (38.0%) - and involved animals of unknown owners in 56.3% of the cases. Only 28.2% of dogs were available for observation.

New CareCredit Regulations
There is an emphasis on CareCredit ensuring that contracted providers, as the first and most direct contact with the consumer, inform consumers of what they're signing up for.

Adjusting Florinef (Fludrocortisone Acetate) Dose In Dog That Has Addison's's Disease And Low Sodium Levels
We have a Westie who "felt fine" with out of whack electrolytes on Florinef and Pred, and has had two major Addisonian crises. That is expensive! I think they are always borderline sick, even if they feel okay, and they are much more likely to get euthanized for repeated $1000 visits than for a monthly expense.

Does Tracking During Veterinary School Have An Effect On Employment After Graduation?
How might tracking influence your decision to hire a new vet? Would you be less likely to hire a new grad who tracked small, than one who tracked mixed? Does it not matter one way or the other? For new graduates, do you feel that tracking one way or the other helped you or hurt you when you were job hunting or starting your first job?

Severely Overworked, Underpaid, And Burning Out: Will Things Change When New Owner Takes Control, Or Should I Leave Now?
It really is time to consider whether you want to continue to sacrifice yourself at the altar of someone else's practice.

My personal favorite is "he doesn't even eat everything in his bowl." I hear this all the time-- what is your point?!?!?!
