![]() ![]() ![]() The VIN consultants/editors and reps make every effort to ensure you have a response within 48 hours (usually much sooner), but sometimes things don't go as planned. To keep track of the huge number of posts per day, the wonderful VIN Representative Team, with the help of an automated system, monitors and tracks the age of threads needing a response. Posting to your own unanswered discussion to "refresh it" won't change the priority of your post. VIN is colleagues helping colleagues, and the more input from all VINners, the better for all of us. Don't be shy about chiming in to help others and don't be put off if your help comes from someone not on the list of VIN consultant/editors/reps or without a bunch of letters after their name. If you have any questions contact membership services or email to feedback@vin.com.
Fret no more! Choosing Clinical Updates from the VIN Resources drop-down menu on VIN Search (before entering your search terms) will allow you to search clinical updates. Still need help (hint: there are other ways to find these gems)? There's also a link to How to Find Clinical Updates on the VIN Front Page.
Thanks to the VIN Foundation, materials for Getting Through the Night 2013 are now available on VIN. These modules are primarily aimed at new graduates who are faced with ER work, although all veterinarians may benefit. Read the interactive session transcripts, catch up with the course message board discussions, and browse the slideshows, handouts, and videos to learn common mistakes and pitfalls of ER duty and how to avoid them.
