What's the Dose?
When searching VIN for information on drugs, one useful trick is to click the Drug Resources tab to limit your search to information from Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook, the NACA Formulary, COMPAS MSDS Sheets, the CVP Drug Label Database, the Pet Pharmacy (client handouts) and other valuable drug resources. Find even more helpful information on the Drug Resources page in the Library.

Pharmacokinetics of zonisamide and drug interaction with phenobarbital in dogs
These data suggested that repeated administration of a clinical dose of phenobarbital enhanced the clearance of zonisamide, and the enhanced clearance lasted at least 10 weeks after the discontinuation of phenobarbital. Caution may be necessary when zonisamide is given with phenobarbital and when antiepileptic therapy is changed from phenobarbital to zonisamide.
Resuscitation of canine and feline neonates
Resuscitation efforts should be provided in the following order: warmth, airway, breathing, circulation, and drugs. Adequate time should be allowed for correction of hypoxia using ventilatory and circulatory support before drugs are used, with the exception of drugs given to reverse anesthetic and analgesic agents that were given to the dam prior to delivery of the neonates.
Glargine and protamine zinc insulin have a longer duration of action and result in lower mean daily glucose concentrations than lente insulin in healthy cats
Healthy cats injected subcutaneously with glargine, compared to those injected with lente insulin, have a later glucose nadir and longer duration of action. Glargine and PZI had similar durations of action in study cats but a larger study is required to obtain precise comparisons of duration of action.

Exam room pods
I was actually thinking of perhaps 4 exam rooms with a common hallway, with entrances for all off the common hallway. The rooms would have only one door in and out of the room. My ophthalmologists do this with 20 exam rooms. It seems to be extremely efficient.
Working too hard: how do I stop this?
Right now, I am busy working through lunch and late into the evening trying to accomodate clients. Even then, I am constantly being griped at because they had to wait so long for an appointment.

Jewish candidate that cannot work Fridays/Saturdays is being denied Internship
I think that your friend has chosen a lifestyle that puts him/her in the minority of her colleagues, and likely in the minority in his/her community. That requires dedication to a belief, but also an understanding that the situations he/she wants to be a part of might not allow for that lifestyle, and choices will have to be made.
