Small Animal Drug Formulary, 2nd Ed.
This second edition of the formulary appears only online in the VIN Library and is compiled from Appendix IV of the 5th edition of the Handbook of Small Animal Practice (HSAP), which was edited by VIN consultant Rhea V. Morgan, DVM, DACVIM, DACVO.

Hundreds of drugs are listed in alphabetical order by generic name and are cross referenced to the corresponding brand name so you can search by either one.

The handbook lists one or more usages for each drug, followed by the recommended drug dosage for that particular condition and can be found in the Drug Resources section of the VIN library.

Results of the noise assessments indicated levels that are damaging to the human auditory system. Such levels could be considered dangerous for kenneled dogs as well, particularly given the demonstrated hearing loss in dogs housed in the veterinary kennel for a prolonged period.

If you work in a multi-doctor practice, you should always access and post under your own name so you can enjoy your own personalized settings and MyStuff.

Each VIN page has a Log Out button near the top right. Logging out will also keep you and your colleagues from accidentally impersonating each other.

Did you know that colleagues working in the same practice qualify for group membership rates? If more than one member of your practice is using a single VIN login, you and your colleagues should each have your own login and be billed as a group membership.

This helpful FAQ will explain how group memberships work. If you still have questions contact membership services at vingram@vin.com, or call membership services at 1-800-700-4636 (toll free) or 1-530-756-4881 (local).
