Papillomavirus-associated diseases
Classical papillomatosis is usually asymptomatic and spontaneously resolves within 1 to 9 months; therefore, treatment is often not required. Genital papillomas/papillomatosis have not been reported to spontaneously resolve, and there is increasing evidence that genital papillomas may evolve to in situ or invasive squamous cell carcinomas.

Collection and characterization of semen from green iguanas (Iguana iguana)
Results of this study suggested electroejaculation can be performed to collect semen samples from green iguanas, characteristics of iguana semen samples are similar to those for semen samples obtained from other reptiles, and motility of iguana spermatozoa decreases during refrigeration within 48 to 72 hours.

More severely affected horses experience spontaneous skin sloughing and extensive lacerations, hematomas, and seromas from minor trauma.

Pyogranulomatous And Lymphoplasmacytic Myocarditis And Pericarditis In A Young Dog Initially Presented For Lethargy, Inappetence, And Decreased Appetite
Ooh, that's nasty. It certainly explains the clinical history and the ultimate outcome. There would be no easy way to predict this.

Radiographs Of Tarsus/Metatarsus Region In A Dog That Had Previous Tarsal Trauma
This is really unusual for sure. What I think happened is that the fractured metatarsal (and distal two rows of tarsal bones) healed in a crazy extensive syndesmosis.

What To Do About Boarders That Do Not Get Picked Up?
Each state has abandonment laws. Check up on them. Remember... worse than getting stuck with the bill is getting stuck with the bill *and* the dog!

Preparing In-House Cytology Slides: When Should Heat Be Used To Dry Slides, And When Should It Be Avoided?
It is always helpful to have one standard protocol. Then there is consistency, so that the slides will all be similar. I prefer to air dry slides, but I will use low heat for...

    My Breeder Said...
My favorite of all time was a client who came in with their 16-week-old Doberman puppy. His ears were not cropped and when I commented on how cute they were they said, "The breeder told us that if we don't crop the ears then his skull will stop growing but his brain will continue to grow and he will get brain damage. Is that true?" It was all I could do not to laugh while answering that question with a strong, "Um, no."
