Evaluation of risk factors for morbidity and mortality after pylorectomy and gastroduodenostomy in dogs
Overall, most dogs treated with pylorectomy and gastroduodenostomy survived the postoperative period; however, preoperative weight loss and malignant neoplasia were associated with decreased survival time. Because dogs with malignant neoplasia have markedly shortened survival times, pertinent preoperative diagnostics steps should be exhausted to identify underlying neoplasia.

Ten animals were presented because of vaginal discharge; the reasons for presentation of the remaining 49 rabbits included mammary masses, skin tumours, anorexia, and poor general health.

Recommendations for vaccination protocols for dogs and cats; what do do about missed boosters; how often to test cats for FeLV infections
The concept of "starting over" is ingrained in our profession, but I don't know why. It doesn't appear in any immunology textbooks and vaccine companies have never promoted the concept in their literature.
