CTVT Project - Worldwide Distribution Questionnaire
Have you ever diagnosed any cases of Canine Transmissible Venereal Tumor (CTVT)? The University of Cambridge in the UK is conducting a survey to map worldwide distribution of the disease.

Note: This is not a VIN survey, but we have verified that the link is safe.

Even if you have never diagnosed a case of CTVT, the Cambridge Research Team appreciates your participation in this survey.

Virucidal effect of commercially available disinfectants on equine group A rotavirus
Free Full-Text

Chlorine- and iodine-based disinfectants showed virucidal effects, but these were reduced by the presence of organic matter. Glutaraldehyde had a virucidal effect regardless of the presence of organic matter, but the effect was reduced by low temperature or short reaction time, or both.

Feeling Uneasy About Providing Veterinary Care For Large Breed Dog That Is Increasingly Nervous In Clinic
There are dogs out there that are kind of creepy. They don't look afraid, and they don't do much of anything, except stare -- and boy is it an icy stare. Since this is a big dog who could really hurt you if he felt the need to, it's right of you to respond to him as you did.

Is Offering Dental Radiography Financially Worthwhile?
Adding dental radiology capability to my practice was the best investment in equipment I made in nearly 32 years of practice ownership.

Funny Things Clients Say
A client came in with a well-managed Addisonian, telling us he needed to have his electric lights checked.

Of course we took this and ran with it and constantly talked about checking the electric lights on everything that came in.

Now I can't freakin' say the word "electrolytes" properly.
