Rehabilitation Therapy and TPLO Procedures - a VIN Survey
TPLO is one of the most common cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) repair techniques employed today. Does professional rehabilitation therapy after the procedure affect outcomes?

Laura Romano, DVM, is investigating the effect of rehabilitation therapy in cruciate rupture treated by TPLO. If you've had a case, whether or not your patient underwent rehabilitation therapy, please take a few minutes to share your experience in this brief survey.

All answers will be confidential and only summary results will be provided. Once the data are analyzed, we will present a synopsis to the survey participants.

If you have questions about the survey, please email Mark Rishniw (mark@vin.com).

If you've participated in other surveys, but haven't seen the results yet, take a look at the Survey Results page.

BETA user? The VIN Survey Viewer on Beta.vin.com lets you view and evaluate survey results in ways beyond those provided in the write-up done by the VIN survey team.

Thanks for helping to advance clinical research!

Use Of Hemonate Filters And Syringes For Transfusions In Cats
I have questioned my method of transfusing cats. While it felt like it worked, the evidence in dogs really called the technique into question. I am thrilled that this finally was studied and got published.

Should Cats Be Intubated During Neuters?
In vet school, we were told intubation was not worth the risk of inducing laryngospasms when the procedure itself was so very short. However, some of my associates think it is good practice, and I do see their point. It makes sense to have control of the airways regardless of how quick the anesthetic is, but I wanted to know what others were doing.
