Keep Track of Your Message Board Participation and Searches
MyActivities (Ctrl-M) allows you to track and manage all of your message board and search activities in one place.

Forgot to save your search results to your MyStuff? Use the 'My Search History' tab to revive your search result and get a second chance to add it to your MyStuff.

If your MySubscriptions or MyDiscussions lists are getting a little cluttered, remove the ones you no longer want quickly and easily with a couple of clicks!

Access MyActivities through the icon at the top right or link in the footer of most VIN pages -- or simply press CTRL-M (Control and M keys simultaneously) from anywhere on VIN.

The My Recent section on the main message board page also can help you locate your message board posts quickly.

Note: To use MyActivities you'll want to make sure your browser is set to allow pop ups from VIN. Learn how.

Reaching Out to Colleagues
The VIN Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, offers several initiatives to help colleagues through career transitions and difficult times. See VIN Foundation.org for more about these initiatives and other ways the VIN Foundation is here to help you and your colleagues:

  • VETS4VETS: confidential support for colleagues with all kinds of issues -- pretty much anything and everything that veterinarians go through!
  • BRIDGE, FULCRUM, and TUNNEL: confidential support groups for colleagues with health conditions that affect their ability to practice.
  • Vets In Recovery: a confidential, identity-protected group for colleagues who are in/or seeking recovery from any addiction.
  • Stone Soup: help for colleagues who because of a natural disaster or other extreme circumstances are struggling to keep their doors open.
  • StartUp Club: a group for colleagues who have or are planning to startup their own practice.

If you have an interest in mentoring colleagues contact Bree Montana, DVM.

All VIN Foundation initiatives are free and open to all veterinarians and veterinary students. Contact info@vinfoundation.org.

VIN members can learn more by participating in the message board discussion.
