THE WSAVA 2002 CONGRESS AND GRANADA WELCOME YOU

We are excited to present the WSAVA 2002 Congress Proceedings ONLINE!

In 2002, the WSAVA World Congress chooses Granada as its venue. It will be an interesting 4-day congress, focusing on 19 veterinary specialties in companion animal veterinary medicine and surgery.

The Congress will take place from 3rd to 6th October, and it will coincide with the 8th edition of the FECAVA and the 37th of AVEPA Congress.

More than 150 prestigious speakers from around the world will meet in Granada. The strength of the program lies not only in the topics, but also in the speakers, the best in their fields.

Before the congress, on October 2nd, International Specialist Associations will organize symposiums making a very interesting pre-Congress Day.

A commercial exhibition of veterinary pharmaceutical products, pet food, equipment and publications will take place during the congress. Participants will have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with some of the largest innovations in the veterinary medicine field.

But there is more… the social program includes the opening and closing ceremony, the Flamenco party, etc. with performances such as the Ballet Flamenco of Sara Baras, a new revelation of the Flamenco in Spain, among others.

The delegates will also enjoy the opportunity to visit the Alhambra, the Cathedral and many other points of cultural interest in the city. In addition, there will be pre-and-post-congress tours especially designed for veterinarians that will allow the visitors to get to know Spanish culture better.
