This course will cover the pathology, diagnostic approach and treatment options of the anemic veterinary patient. Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
- review pathophysiology of erythropoiesis.
- discuss appropriate diagnostic testing to identify the cause of a patient’s anemia.
- discuss potential therapies for anemia.
