Updating Flash Player
Revised: January 28, 2016
Published: March 02, 2012

Flash is the standard for delivering high-impact, rich Web content. It is used to provide animation, advertisements, and various web page components; to integrate video into web pages; and to develop internet applications. Flash Player is a browser plug-in that enables your browser to display the multimedia content created by the Flash authoring tool. A great many of the applications and interfaces provided by VIN will require the user's browser to have a current version of the Flash Player plug-in.

Please go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to check if you have the latest version of Flash Player.

Please go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to download the free, most recent version of Flash Player.

If your installation fails, it may be necessary to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control. Please go to http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=1 for assistance.

If you are having trouble with the installation, please go to http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/ for assistance or call VIN tech support at 1.800.846.0028 ext 127 or 1.530.756.4881 (outside the US) or e-mail support@vin.com.

Installing the latest Flash player may require that you restart your computer. If you are attending a real-time or practice CE session, please try to perform this installation at least 30 minutes before the session starts to ensure you will be ready when the session starts.
