  • 15 years in emergency/critical care (both after-hours and 24 hour practice), in Connecticut, Georgia and Washington state, with intermittent relief work in day and emergency practice. Currently doing relief work in the greater Seattle area.

Hobbies:

  • Biking, kayaking, and good wines!

  • New husband Kelvin, daughter Melinda

Pets:

  • Tessa - boxer/basset hound mix (first puppy in over 10 years!)
  • Abby - half slug/half dog, hopelessly trapped in a DSH cat's body
  • Kayla - slightly schizoid DLH
  • Ian - DSH, aka 'Pee Boy' (we love him despite his inappropriate urination)
  • Lily - Peruvian guinea pig, with the longest pig hair you've ever seen

What I love about VIN:

  • VIN truly is an extended family to me, and I've made many wonderful friends over the years. I love the communication with specialists from around the world, and I love that I can log on and find the answer to almost any veterinary question within seconds!
