Establishing Accountability

In the last decade of veterinary practice management, detailed job descriptions, assignment of duties, and even refined protocols and policy manuals were made commonplace. However, practices are still having difficulties building a responsive staff. The problem often lies within the leadership's control of the process, not the staff's ability to think. Delegation requires the group to developed FIRST: for skills to be taught, for expectations to be shared. The accountability for an outcome, with the expected measurements of success, will mark the new veterinary practice team, while process control will remain the hallmark of the traditional (and probably dying) practice. This seminar is for the progressive thinker, those who want to be leaders, and those who want to make tomorrow better than today.
