Horse Behavior and Communication Demo
2002 SAVMA Symposium
Scott LaFevers

This demonstration will involve training techniques and discussions on why horses do what they do. We will work with animals to communicate to them that they can be comfortable and polite even in an intimidating situation. Work will be done to establish trust and respect to show how this transfers to all aspects of horsemanship whether from safely handling, loading, leading to trail riding or performance. Demo time 4hrs in the round pen and other suitable facilities.
