VSPN’s message boards are an important facet of our community where questions and discussions take place. Post a new question or search past discussions for information.

Moderators

Moderators

VSPN volunteer moderators are veterinary technicians who are leaders in their field who strive to help others. These moderators help answer questions on the boards, host Rounds sessions, author items in the VSPN Notebook®, and teach continuing education courses.

Continual Education

Continual Education

VSPN offers over 50 continual education courses per year. All courses are online and the majority are interactive and contain a real time session component. VSPN also has non-interactive/self-paced courses that consist of handouts, videos, and tests. From topics for front desk personnel to veterinary technician specialists (VTS), VSPN has a wide variety of CE for all clinic staff members.

Rounds

Rounds

Rounds sessions are much like mini-conference presentations. These sessions are online and hosted by a variety of VIN/VSPN members. Most sessions take place on Sunday evenings, but there are sessions other days of the week throughout the year. There is free CE offered for some of the Rounds sessions too.

VSPN Notebook®

VSPN Notebook®

The VSPN Notebook® is an online resource for veterinary support staff. This is a VSPN member-only resource and contributors come from within the VSPN community. The VSPN Notebook® is a quick reference on topics ranging from pregnancy in the workplace to how to calculate CRI’s.

Library

The VSPN Library contains resources for the clinic, transcripts from past Rounds, proceedings from several conferences, and links to many more resources.
