We are just now determining the presence of many different red cell antigens, so we should seriously consider whether the "we can give one dose before cross-matching" information from the 1950s is applicable to the *current* state of medicine.

Treating Chronic Otitis In An Aggressive Dog
I make sure I tell the owner that the challenge is not clearing the ear up. That is the easy part. The real challenge is diagnosing and treating/managing the underlying cause, so I can prevent or minimize the otitis from flaring up again.

OSHA & Practice Safety
April 4 - July 7, 2016

This course is designed for the practice owner, manager or administrator who desires to understand OSHA's standards as well as practical ways to implement them in a veterinary practice. We attempt to avoid debating the merits of any particular requirement and focus on how to achieve compliance! This course will cover ALL aspects of a hospital safety program, not just the Hazard Communication Standard.

Understanding Hospice and Palliative Care
August 11 - September 4, 2016

This course is designed to help veterinarians and veterinary staff to better understand the hospice philosophy and gain tools to implement directly into their hospice services. Course attendees will learn about the initial hospice consultation, the stages of dying, comfort care protocols, and case examples. Until certification exists for animal hospice providers, presentations like this can help guide providers on hospice best practices.

Check the World Clock Time Zone Converter to confirm class start times for your area.
