Studies of the pharmacokinetic profile, in vivo efficacy and safety of injectable altrenogest for the suppression of oestrus in mares
Oestrous behaviour was suppressed in all mares within 24 hours of administration. Two mares returned to oestrus by day 6 and the rest on days 7-10.

Effects of oral administration of metronidazole and doxycycline on olfactory capabilities of explosives detection dogs
Degradation in the ability to detect odors of explosives during metronidazole administration at 25 mg/kg, PO, every 12 hours, indicated a potential risk for use of this drug in ED dogs. Additional studies will be needed to determine whether lower doses would have the same effect. Doxycycline administered at the tested dose appeared to be safe for use in ED dogs.

Epidemiology of hyperadrenocorticism among 210,824 dogs attending primary-care veterinary practices in the UK from 2009 to 2014
This is the first epidemiological report of a non-referral hospital population of dogs diagnosed with hyperadrenocorticism in the UK and describes important breed, age, and bodyweight associations with this disorder which may improve diagnosis and enhance understanding of the underlying pathophysiology.

Cat With High Grade Mammary Carcinoma And Lymphatic Emboli: Should Local Lymph Nodes Be Biopsied?
This tumor could be stage II-IV, depending on the clinical staging results (lymph node status and three-view thoracic radiographs).

Inappetence In Geriatric Burmese Python
There's a massive metabolic upregulation following feeding in snakes, and that increased metabolism is also increasing aging. The more frequently you feed them, the faster they age.

Captive Lions: Vitamin A Levels And Supplementation
I'd lean toward at least 400 IU Vitamin A orally per day until you can see some improvement in the serum level. Be sure to question how the supplement is added to the diet -- are the keepers certain the lions are eating it, and can you be certain that your clients are actually adding the right amount of supplement daily?

Otic Medications For Severe Otitis Externa In Dogs
There are studies that show if you clean all the exudate out of the ear, two weeks of pred alone will change the environment enough to get rid of the pseudomonas.
