The VSPN Message Boards are your gateway to discussions on current topics, management methods, drug protocols, and much, much more. Discussions with your colleagues allow you to exchange ideas, get help with difficult practice management problems, and cope with practice stress.

The Message Board folders cover medical and practice management topics, industry information, etc. The Message Boards are searchable and customizable, allowing you to get the information you want in the way you want it. You can add images to your message board posts to illustrate the new restraint technique you learned or show off new staff uniforms.

All VSPN members can participate in a Message Board discussion. This interaction is what makes the VSPN community so useful to you as a veterinary professional.

The VSPN member library gives access to the archived VSPN Rounds (chat) sessions (including a wide variety of veterinary medical and management topics, cases, and discussions), client handouts, hospital forms contributed by VSPN members and VIN consultants, links to previous weekly journal abstracts, and a multitude of veterinary/human medical websites. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center has contributed an online poisonous plant book. Using the SEARCH button on the main navigation bar there is also a searchable database of useful client education articles via www.veterinarypartner.com.

Members are welcome to take continual education on VSPN. VSPN offers high-quality educational courses in a cooperative effort with the Veterinary Information Network (VIN). Please view the current course catalog to see what is available. Courses are held online and are taught by experts in the field. VSPN online CE is special because it allows veterinary staff members to expand their knowledge from their office or home -- in a convenient, easy-to-use format. We routinely submit our online CE for accreditation by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (www.aavsb.org) for RACE. We also submit for credentialing from states or provinces that require additional verbiage for their CE requirements. Courses are designed for varying levels of veterinary professionals from the veterinary technician, practice manager, receptionist, assistant, and other facets of veterinary medicine.

The VSPN NotebookŪ was created as a handbook of easily-accessible information for hospital staff to use every day. The VSPN Notebook® is online, so it is regularly updated and amended to contain the most current information in the profession. All VSPNers are encouraged to suggest additions to this online book to make it fulfill your needs.

VSPN is first and foremost a community of support staff working toward a common goal of assisting each and every member to be the best that they can be. Occasionally VSPN brings new opportunities to members -- opportunities that are designed to be a value-added benefit for having VSPN membership.
