About me: AB University of Calif, Irvine in philosophy, 1979 Graduated UC Davis School of Vet Med 1997 with Carla Pion's class. Paul Pion taught our first year cardiology class. All further attempts to teach me cardiology have failed. I've been a single mom since 1993. One daughter born in 1992. We currently have 1 flat-coated retriever, 1 chihuahua/doxie/min pin mix (almost a sure guarantee for a nightmare toenail trim, isn't she?), 4 cats, 1 desert tortoise and a tank full of non-descript fish. We live in Redlands, CA. I am a small animal associate in a small animal, avian and exotics practice in Riverside (Pedley), CA. My first job out of school and I am still here and enjoying it. What I like about VIN: The people--not just the reps or consultants, but the subscribers as well. I have enjoyed the rich friendships and learning environment immensely. Ok, that sounds sappy. sorry, best I can do this late at night. Hobbies: fishing, camping, water skiing ;), gardening, scuba diving. |
