COURSE DESCRIPTION
This continuing education course will focus on available methods for diagnosis of bacterial urinary tract infections including routine urine sediment examination, evaluation of stained sediment, quantitative urine culture or kits. Assessment of laboratory data, recommendations for additional testing and appropriate treatment(s) will be discussed. At the end of this session, the practicing veterinarian will be able to interpret laboratory results with increased confidence, advise clients regarding advantages and disadvantages of the different available diagnostic tests and recommend a treatment regimen.

Discussions will begin on the start date of the course and will continue for 7 days following the last real time session.

Attendance at the Interactive Session is open to veterinarians and Veterinary students and does not require registration.

Advance registration only required for CE Credit.
CE certificates will be given only to those who register before Thursday, 5 pm PDT on April 7th, 2005.
