Course Information:
The eye is the window to the rest of the body. In this course, we will discuss how the eye can be an indicator of a systemic problem in dogs and cats, describe the clues within the eye that tell you to look deeper, and touch on treatment options available.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
- understand the ocular clues that indicate a larger systemic problem.
- obtain a list of differential diagnoses for the clinical signs observed within the eye.
- have a working knowledge of treatment options available.
Level and Prerequisites: This intermediate VIN CE course is open for enrollment to veterinarians interested in ocular manifestations of systemic disease.
Credit Approval: This course is approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit by RACE for veterinarians. (RACE 20-1081664)

Successful completion (scoring 80% or better) on the end-of-course test is required to earn a certificate of completion for the course. - VSPN CE courses are open to veterinary support staff and veterinarians.
- Only VIN and VSPN members can enroll in a VSPN CE course.
- Veterinarians will only receive credit for those VSPN CE courses that specify in the Accreditation statement that the course is accredited for veterinarians.
- Please check the course Level and Prerequisites, Accreditation, and Tuition before enrolling.
- Each enrollee must be able to receive emails from @vspn.org
