Course Information:
This course will cover the physiology of hypotension in the feline patient, including the diagnostic approach and treatment.

To earn a certificate of completion the participant must complete all learning modules and score 80% or better on the end-of-course test. Completion of the course will take a minimum of 68 minutes. Participants must complete the participation requirements by April 30, 2026 to be eligible for a certificate.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
  • Review relevant pathophysiology of hypotension in cats.
  • Identify a practical approach to the diagnosis of hypotension in cats.
  • Develop a logical and medically sound treatment plan for a feline patient with hypotension.


Level and Prerequisites: This basic drip.vet/VIN CE self-study course is open for enrollment to veterinarians actively interested in Feline Hypotension. This course is open to VIN members only.
Credit Approval: This non-interactive course is approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit by RACE for veterinarians. (RACE 20-971334)
