These recordings will be placed in the conference library and will be available for viewing at any time. However, CE credit cannot be earned solely from watching the video replays. Attendance for some portion of each day is required for CE credit.


Description:
The VIN Soft Tissue Surgery Conference is a unique educational opportunity for the general practitioner to learn from highly regarded surgeons. This 2-day virtual event will feature useful content and key takeaways on the topics of urinary bladder surgery, liver biopsy, digit amputation, portosystemic shunts, gastric dilatation volulus (GDV), splenectomy/Hemoabdomen, Episioplasty, skin fold disorders, and gastrointestinal surgery.

Participants will learn pathophysiology, anatomy, pre-operative work-up and stabilization, surgical techniques, and post-operative management related to urinary bladder surgery in dogs and cats.

Session 1.2 (Friday, December 9, 2022; 6:30-6:55 pm ET)
Topic: Liver Biopsy

Participants will learn anatomy, surgical techniques, and post-operative management related to liver biopsy in dogs and cats.

Topic: Digit Amputation

Participants will learn indications for, anatomy, pre-operative work-up, surgical techniques, and post-operative management related to digit amputation in dogs.
