Course Information:
You’ve invested a lot of time and money to learn acupuncture. You know it can benefit your patients, and maybe you’ve even seen some positive results, but can you make it a lucrative, enjoyable part of your practice? In this two-part series we will discuss how to successfully incorporate acupuncture into your companion animal practice. We will explore different ways to integrate acupuncture into your practice, how to explain acupuncture to your clients and staff, discuss common and not-so-common cases that respond well to acupuncture, and get to know some “beginner” herbs (Chinese and Western). We’ll round out the course by discussing community, appreciating differences and dealing with feelings of isolation.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to
  • understand how to introduce acupuncture into practice.
  • talk to clients about how acupuncture works.
  • easily start treating both common and uncommon cases.
  • identify cases in which to use a small arsenal of commonly used herbs (Chinese and Western).
  • find support for questions, concerns, and community.
