This book is divided into six sections, The Ear; The Nasal Cavity and Paranasal Sinuses; The Larynx; The Trachea; The Oral Cavity and The Pharynx.
The book is liberally illustrated with color photographs, histology slides, radiographs, and drawings to illustrate various techniques and salient points.
The cases are well worked-up and described. The front of the book has a section that lists the cases followed by their signalment and diagnosis so that the clinician can easily find his matching case.
The cases are varied and thorough, taking this book far beyond reference, into the realm of interesting reading. The index is thorough and topics are easily located. Each chapter is followed by references, although they are not numbered as to which case they refer, and they are not noted in the case text. There is also a glossary of abbreviations used in the text.
Printed in Germany by Schlütersche GmbH & Co. and distributed by Blackwell Publishing (2003).
The book is hardcover, 208 pages.
