The cost of laser equipment has come down somewhat in the past few years, making it more feasible for use in a busy practice. Developing the skills to use a laser is the key to successful application. This book is an important addition to laser education, giving the reader not only a good preparatory start in the equipment, its care, and use, but also in the chapters that instruct in actual surgery. A section also presents full color photos of surgeries.
According to the authors, daily use of the laser will enable the clinician to develop the skills necessary in a relatively short time, thereby making the investment worthwhile in a shorter time.
This book gives step-by-step instruction on techniques/theories, and explains how laser surgery can be used to improve the quality of patient life through faster healing and lessened pain.
