In the age of social media, businesses need to be more savvy and smarter about how they attract clients to their businesses. With people spending more time on their smart phones, and being plugged into the internet 24/7 where ever they go, businesses have to learn how to stand out from the crowd. People have learned how to get free advertising using this social media, but how do you get the business to come to you? Wildly Profitable Marketing for the Pet Industry teaches how to target your audience, how to make a profitable website, using social media the correct way, email/e-newsletter,and how to use the media and sponsors to increase traffic to your business.
Pam Foster brings her 30 plus years’ experience as a copy writer as well as having worked with companies such as IDEXX, LifeLearn and DirectVetMarketing\ where she works at teaching these companies how to use marketing to show their target audience why they need to do business with them. Currently Pam Foster is the co-founder of Pawzoola Publishing, and she also does consulting and lectures on marketing for the pet industry.
C S Wurzberger is a consultant, web designer and teaches about internet marketing. Her interests are mainly aimed toward zoos, aquariums, and wildlife conservations. While she shows how to achieve higher traffic to these locations, she also in the process educates people on endangered species, and how important conservation of our land is.
The authors’ goal is to educate the reader on how to produce marketing tools to make a business more profitable. They have definitely achieved this goal, by going through in detail and with many examples cited within the book, how to make your business thrive and be profitable. I would recommend this book to anyone in the pet industry that is trying to get their business off the ground, and or any one that is looking to attracted more clients to come through their door.
