The only downfall of this book I see is that it is described as a pocket-size resource but this book is a little large for a pocket version but a great resource. There are more than 50 additional drugs in this updated version; therefore there are more than 950 small animal drugs covered. The book is divided into 9 appendixes, including class of drugs by action or use, alphabetical listing of drugs by generic, propriety name and source, CRIs, and therapeutic drug monitor data.
This book would be an excellent addition to a hospital or personal library. I am currently working on my AVTA application and this book is great for me, it is an excellent resource for drugs used. An electronic version is also available as an app, but is sold separately. Technicians as well as technician educators will find this book helpful.
