As usual, the "Clinics" book is concise and descriptive and focused entirely on its topic, surgical complications. The various chapters include complications of the:
- Upper Respiratory Tract;
- Guttural Pouch;
- Oral Surgery;
- Colic Surgery;
- Nonsurgical Complications;
- Laparoscopic Surgery;
- Equine Arthroscopy;
- Orthopaedic Surgery in Horses, Orthopaedic Pain Perioperatively, Unilateral Weight Bearing, Wound Management and Dermatologic Surgery;
- Ophthalmic Surgery in the Horse;
- Equine Anesthesia; and
- Selected Urogenital Surgery Concerns and Complications.
The various authors contributing to this book are all well known and respected in equine medicine.
The book is well illustrated with black-and-white and color photos, some drawings, endoscopic or radiographic images, and some selected charts. The procedures described are all well illustrated and charted. An excellent addition to your "Clinics" library.
