This second edition has been thoroughly updated from the first edition published in 1973. This volume is long overdue and reflects many new drugs and treatments since that first book. The book has been reorganized by host species. Species are illustrated with microscopic views, drawings, and photos. The chapters are organized into host and life cycle, pathology, diagnosis, public health considerations, morphology, clinical disease, and treatment. A new appendix features a complete drug formulary.
