    I have been a full-time professor, with a special focus on clinical pathology, for 27 years. Subjects taught include, or have included, normal and abnormal hematology, urinalysis, clinical chemistry, cytology, parasitology, anatomy, nutrition, and math. Responsibilities include(d) creation, delivery, and evaluation of the subject material.

    I have prepared and presented lectures, wet labs and an online course on varied topics related to clinical pathology at numerous conferences and continuing education sessions for veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Organizations and conferences have included VIN, Canadian Veterinary Alliance, American Animal Hospital Association, Michigan Veterinary Association, Western Veterinary Conference, Manitoba Veterinary Technicians Association, Lifelearn (University of Guelph), Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, and Atlantic Veterinary Conference.

    Since 1991, I have practiced small animal veterinary medicine at Golf Glen Veterinary Clinic in Aurora, Ontario. Current duties include examinations/office visits, diagnostics and medical care. Previous responsibilities included all aspects of general small animal practice, including surgery and anesthesia.
