  • 2007 recipient of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) “Woodrow Award” for “outstanding contributions in the field of small animal veterinary medicine”.

Current Research, Clinical Interests

  • Natural history, progression, diagnosis and management of Myxomatous mitral valve disease in dogs. (Interested in acquired canine and feline heart disease more generally.)

Relationships

  • One wife, three adult daughters, two dogs, one cat.

Hobbies

  • Cycling – sometimes over quite long distances.
