With euthanasia being one of the few procedures we do weighted in heavy emotion
and the pressure to get it right, we should have more training in it.
Truth is we don’t get much in school and even after practicing for years,
we could still use techniques to make things better. Let’s get beyond those
stressful situations and learn ways to help even the most challenging patients.
This 2-hour session will review the most current techniques offered in companion
animal medicine, examine some challenging cases, discuss important key phrases
and communication strategies, and set some basic fundamentals that everyone
can successfully offer and perform.
