Providing and maintaining a secure community that protects the integrity of Veterinarians is critical to all VIN members. VIN does not allow "hospital accounts" where multiple members share a single account. If more than one colleague in your practice is using a single VIN account, you and your colleagues should create a group membership. Please click here for more information about groups on VIN.

I Feel Bad Because I Fired A Client
It is a falsehood that any paying client is a good client. We definitely do not charge enough at my practice to allow the emotional abuse this fellow piled on everyone (especially the staff). I was worried that he would "badmouth" us to other clients. Shoot, he was anyway!!! At least now we aren't providing any current fodder for him to use in his derogatory remarks.

Opinions and Experieinces in Using Temaril P For Atopic Dogs
Temaril For Atopic Dogs......In my hands it seems that the combination of the trimeprazine and 2 mg of prednisone allows me to use much lower dosages that I would normally for atopics with good results. Even for large dogs, I rarely need more then 1-2 tablets every other day.....

Pulmonary Hypertension?? Heartworm Disease?
Radiographs in these rare cases are the best way to make the diagnosis. You're unlikely to find [heartworms] on echo with such a low worm burden (they sit out distally in the pulmonary arteries and are only back in the main arteries when there are a lot jammed in there).
