Are you ready for National Veterinary Technician Week (October 13 to 19)?
What are you doing to make your technicians feel valued? Remember, veterinary technicians are important members of your veterinary health care team. Maintaining their certification, registration, or licensure through the completion of continuing education (CE) impacts the success of your team. Why not honor your technicians this National Veterinary Technician Week with opportunities for CE? The Veterinary Support Personnel Network, in a cooperative effort with VIN, offers a variety of courses for your support staff that they can participate in without the inconvenience and expense of travel! Learn more about VSPN CE here.

Acetabular rotation of 20 degrees provided the same degree of improvement in acetabular femoral head coverage as 30 degrees of rotation after TPO at the immediate postoperative, first recheck, and second recheck evaluation times.

Cyclosporin and ketoconazole interaction for treatment of perianal fistulas in the dog.
The use of combined ketoconazole and cyclosporin provided an effective treatment for perianal fistulas. Outcomes were similar to those seen with cyclosporin alone, but allowed a significant reduction in cyclosporin dose and, therefore, cost.
