Myoglobin as a prognostic indicator for outcome in dogs with gastric dilatation-volvulus
With a sensitivity of 60.0% and a specificity of 84.2% at the best cutpoint value of 168 ng/mL, the Mb level alone is not sufficient to decide whether a patient will survive GDV or not.

Successful biphasic transthoracic defibrillation of a dog with prolonged, refractory ventricular fibrillation
In this dog the newer, biphasic technology was life saving after monophasic shocks failed repeatedly to terminate ventricular fibrillation.

Effect of number of cows in estrus and confinement area on estrous behavior of beef cows
Increasing the number of beef cows in estrus at the same time will increase the number of times a cow is mounted and the duration of estrus. The increase in estrous behavior associated with more cows in estrus could increase the number of estrous cows detected with infrequent visual observation.

Ataxic cats eating premium edge
I suspect that these kitties got into something - owners swear that there is nothing in the house or basement and that there is no new food, no drugs etc. Any thoughts? I would think that it would be unlikely to be something infectious hitting both cats exactly the same day/time.

Will Sidewiki cause problems for your website?
The bottom line is that I would start looking at my practices home page on a weekly basis for grafitti provided to you by Google. You might also take a proactive approach and get your good clients to post good stuff to drown out anything bad that might show up. That is probably your best defense.

Internship after graduation: what are the advantages and disadvantages?
A good internship will definitely improve your clinical skills and confidence, especially for the more challenging cases. A year in private practice can do the same *if* you get good mentoring.

Pulmonary stenosis and cough in a small breed dog: thoracic radiographs
WOW!! That is the biggest post-stenotic dilation I've seen in a while.
