The effect of intravenous administration of variable-dose flumazenil after fixed-dose ketamine and midazolam in healthy cats.
Overall, flumazenil administration had little effect on recovery or behaviors.
Low prevalence of Bartonella henselae infections in Norwegian domestic and feral cats.
Contrary to findings reported from several geographic regions, B. henselae infections in Norwegian cats appear to be virtually absent. This in turn may explain why CSD has not been reported in human medical practice in Norway.
Canine neoplasia in the UK: estimates of incidence rates from a population of insured dogs.
The skin and soft tissues were the most common sites for tumour development, with a standardised incidence rate of 1,437 per 100,000 dogs per year, followed by alimentary (210), mammary (205), urogenital (139), lymphoid (134), endocrine (113) and oropharyngeal (112). Canine cutaneous histiocytoma was the most common single tumour type, with a standardised incidence rate of 337 per 100,000 dogs per year, followed by lipoma (318), adenoma (175), soft tissue sarcoma (142), mast cell tumour (129) and lymphosarcoma (114).

Activated Charcoal Alone Or With Food?
If the only way you're going to safely get it in is to mix with food, mix with food. We generally recommend that if you do mix with food you increase the total amount of activated charcoal given. (I usually recommend half again as much.)
MR & ACE Inhibitors
The VETPROOF data are not out yet but are scheduled to be presented at this year's ACVIM Forum in late May. There is soft evidence that giving enalapril early to Dobes with DCM slows the progression until heart failure is seen. Otherwise, no indications known in dogs.
Benefits Of Castration
If he needs hard evidence that neutering prevents testicular neoplasia, then you indeed have a long road ahead of you. Maybe you could make him a deal.
