MyStuff version 1.6.3

Are you a MyStuff geek? Well, great news! Version 1.6.3 has been released to BETA.vin.com - and it will rapidly advance (watch the version numbers change) in the weeks to come.

Ok, you can stop clapping.....

The VIN Wizards want you to play with the new MyStuff, and let them know what you think. This version specifically addresses the desire to select multiple bookmarks and folders and move them by dragging and dropping.

So you ask, “How do I do that”? To select more than one bookmark or folder, hold down the Ctrl (selecting items not in a series) or the Shift (selecting in a series) keys while clicking with your mouse the appropriate bookmarks and folders.

This version also improves the reordering behavior of the folder list. Woo Hoo!

The VIN Wizards are rapidly responding to VINner requests. Gold Stars to those of you who requested features and reported bugs; but hey, don’t be left out of the Gold Star contest, let us know what you think and tell us if you can find anything we need to fix.

As always, please post your feedback if you have questions or suggestions or if you find things not working as expected.

Intra-operative cisplatin for the treatment of canine extremity soft tissue sarcomas
Intra-operative delivery of Atriplat appears to produce a good local tumour control rate of soft tissue sarcomas, but the high wound complication rate (84%) precludes its clinical use. Further development of a nonreactive vehicle to deliver the cytotoxic agent is required.

Inter-rater and test-retest reliability of the Monash Canine Personality Questionnaire-Revised (MCPQ-R)
The results of this study suggest the Monash Canine Personality Questionnaire-Revised (MCPQ-R) is reliable for assessing canine personality along the five identified dimensions (Extraversion, Motivation, Training Focus, Amicability, and Neuroticism).

Clinical features and outcomes of severe ulcerative keratitis with medical and surgical management in 41 horses (2000-2006)
Thirty-five horses retained an intact globe, including 18/20 treated medically and 17/21 that had surgery.

Severe face injury
The remaining gap is an inch wide in some places and I am curious on any other suggestions on how to manage this wound in order to promote granulation to heal. It is not infected, the horse is eating well despite the partail facial paralysis.

Surgical technique for ingrown tail
I think the pictures will speak louder than I can explain, but I will try. She basically has fat and skin that have engulfed her stubby tail. I am not sure that tail has seen the light of day or air for several months. I guess I would like to know what surgical approach would be best?

Can insulin cause diarrhea if given to a dog with an empty stomach?
The owner feels that he can correlate these episodes with giving her insulin dose when she misses a meal. My thought is that she is not feeling well, misses a meal, he gives the insulin dose, and then we see the clinical signs of something that was brewing.

Comments on new Intervet lyme vaccine
I'm not an early adopter of new vaccines. I would stick with my current product for now, unless I thought it wasn't effective or that it was causing reactions.

Search Tip:
Increase the likelihood of your search returning the results you want by using PHRASES rather than SINGLE WORDS when you search:
- Enter HEARTWORM ANTIGEN TESTS, not just HEARTWORM, if that's what you really want to search.
- General terms like KIDNEY can sometimes be useful, but a more specific descriptor such as RENAL FAILURE or KIDNEY FAILURE is often more helpful.
For more help and tips on searching, see Steps To A More Effective Search.
