Treatment of bitches with acquired urinary incontinence with oestriol.
According to the veterinary practitioners, 83 percent of the dogs either became continent or improved, but the others showed no change or became worse. The owners reported similar results: 82 percent of the dogs responded to treatment and the others did not.

Increased pathology incidence in the forestomach of rats maintained on a diet containing ivermectin and given a single dose of N-methyl-N1-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine.
Ivermectin is widely used against parasitic infections in veterinary and human medicine and was found to promote the growth of lesions leading to neoplasia when given continuously in the diet to Wistar rats receiving a single low dose of N-methyl-N1-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG).

Hypoproteinemia In Liver Disease Dog
Most dogs with liver failure have normal to high globulins. This is not to say that liver failure CAN'T cause hypoglobulinemia. Hypoglobulinemia CAN occur with liver failure, but, in my experience, very uncommonly, and only with the world's worst liver diseases. When I see hypoalbuminemia and hypoglobulinemia, even if there IS liver disease, I worry far more about a concurrent protein-losing enteropathy or massive exudative diseases.

Kittens, Panleukopenia, Baytril Dosing
The abstract regarding Baytril pharmacokinetics in neonatal kittens reported that, in kittens 8 weeks old or less, there was erratic oral absorption of the drug, so we should use the IV or SQ route in kittens of that age. By 8 weeks, oral, SQ, and IV administration all had similar pharmacokinetics and should be equally useful.
